Fees & Insurance
Clear, upfront, and easy to understand.
I believe in being upfront about the cost of therapy so you can make informed decisions for yourself and your family. Below you'll find current rates, insurance information, and payment details.
Session Rates
| Session Type | Rate |
|---|---|
| Individual Therapy (50 min) | $195 |
| Intake Session | $195 |
| Family Therapy | $195 |
Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance companies directly. However, many PPO plans offer out-of-network mental health benefits that may cover a significant portion of your session cost.
After each session, I provide a superbill, a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card and asking:
- Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
- What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met?
- What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed after the deductible?
- Is there a limit on the number of sessions per year?
Telehealth
Telehealth sessions are available for adults and parenting sessions. If you prefer the convenience of meeting from home, we can discuss whether telehealth is a good fit during your consultation.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of each session. Accepted forms of payment include credit card and check.
Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations and missed sessions are charged the full session fee.
Good Faith Estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining the expected cost of your care. This estimate includes the cost of related items and services reasonably expected for your treatment. You are entitled to receive this estimate in writing at least one business day before your scheduled service, or upon request. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the bill. For more information, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
Questions about fees?
If cost is a concern or you have questions about what to expect, I'm happy to talk it through. A free 15-minute consultation is a good place to start.
