The Teenage Years Are Complicated

The teenage years can be both exciting and challenging. As adolescents work to develop their identity, navigate friendships, manage academic pressures, and gain independence, they may also experience anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, or difficulties within family relationships.

These struggles don’t mean something is wrong with your teen. They mean your teen is human, and they could benefit from a safe space to sort through it all.

A Space That’s Theirs

I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where teens can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My goal is to help adolescents better understand themselves, build healthy coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop confidence.

Every teen is unique, and therapy is tailored to their individual needs and personality. Sessions may include conversation, creative expression, skill-building, and exploration of relationship patterns and life experiences.

Keeping Parents Connected

Parents remain an important part of the therapeutic process. While respecting a teen’s need for privacy, I collaborate with caregivers to provide support, insight, and guidance that can strengthen communication and foster positive growth both at home and beyond.

Finding the right balance between supporting your teen’s autonomy and staying connected takes intention. Therapy can help your family find that balance together.
